Though you may be inclinded to use email clients such as Outlook or even Thunderbird, there is a new player in town called eM Client.

This program isn't just a simple email client, but also a task organizer, calendar system and a contact management application. To boot, it also synchronizes with the likes of Google Calendar and essentially supports Gmail, too.

Setup for eM Client is swift and uncomplicated. Probably one of the most useful features of this program is the fact that it supports many of Google's services and allows you to check Gmail from your desktop. It also supports iCloud, Apple Server and IceWarp.

Themes give you complete control of the appearance of the application, from menus to dockable panes, from toolbars and editor colors to status bar styling.

How do I add a theme? It's simple. Save the theme file to your computer, then in the application go to Layout » Themes » Manage themes. Click the Add (+) button, select 'Add existing theme...', then browse to the theme file to import it.
